The Grade 4 class went on a field trip to the Kruger National Park. The Big Five were seen in the first two hours of being in the Park and a further three separate sightings of leopard were thoroughly enjoyed and completely appreciated.
The Grade one’s visit to see a fish tank was so enjoyable. Guppies, Swordtails, Neon Tetris and an elusive bottom-feeder Placostomus, named Spike, kept the children in rapture.
What a great theme we have had to begin this term! The children have had such fun exploring the world under-ground. We have looked into the land of dinosaurs, studied bones as well as volcanoes and have made many works of art.
